One destination

To communicate with ease, you need the right tools—and the ability to use them when it is time to speak.

We do not all need to start in the same place.

On one route, we build the tools first and put them into practice immediately. On the other, we begin by communicating so we can discover what needs to be expanded, adjusted or rebuilt.

The goal is the same: to help you use English with greater confidence, accuracy and fluency.

Your route is not determined by a certificate or previous level alone. Before you join, we assess where your training will be most effective.
Two routes · One goal

Training that adapts to how you learn best.

Communication is central to both routes. What changes is the starting point and the balance within each session.

Foundations First

Build first.

I give you the tools you need to communicate.

For learners who still need to expand and consolidate their resources before communicating with enough independence.

Mini challenge→Explanation→Tools→Try again
1
We begin with a mini challenge

We activate what you already know and find a starting point. You do not need to do it perfectly.

2
We build the tools

We work on a structure, pattern or specific difficulty, prioritising common weaknesses at your level.

3
We add Tea & Scones

A small snack of vocabulary and expressions that gives you the fuel to enrich your next attempt.

4
We communicate again

We repeat or reshape the challenge so you can apply the new tools and see what has changed.

  • More explanation and support during the session.
  • Short, guided challenges.
  • Communication after each new tool.
  • Short videos or audio to develop comprehension when useful.
  • Greater independence as you progress.
Tea & Scones

Fuel for your training

Vocabulary and expressions in small portions: useful, memorable and ready to use.

Communication First

Communicate first.

I observe how you communicate to decide which tools you need.

For learners who already have enough resources to express themselves with some independence and tackle more open-ended challenges.

Communicate→Analyse→Refine→Try again
1
You begin by communicating

You handle a situation, develop an idea or interact using your own resources.

2
We identify what already works

We pinpoint the language and strategies that are already part of your active English.

3
We identify what can improve

We locate where you need greater clarity, accuracy, control, naturalness or range.

4
You try again

You apply the feedback and new tools during the session itself or in a later challenge.

  • More time devoted to communication.
  • More open-ended, less guided challenges.
  • Feedback based on your real performance.
  • Reconstruction of language that needs adjustment.
  • Strategies for communicating more independently.
Language Toolbox

The right tool at the right moment

Strategic language for reacting, adding nuance, clarifying, linking ideas and steering a conversation more effectively.

Foundations First: learn, try, adjust and use it again.
Communication First: communicate, analyse, train and try again.
How the VIP Group works

One weekly class. Multiple points of contact.

Each component has a purpose: build, test, assess, train and use again.

01

Live session

75 minutes each week, online or in person, in a small group.

In Foundations First, explanation alternates with mini challenges. In Communication First, more open-ended challenges allow us to work directly from your performance.

02

Communication Workouts

Two weekly micro-training tasks of approximately 15 minutes, completed independently within 48-hour windows.

The workouts require spoken production: you record and submit your response for qualitative assessment and specific recommendations.

03

Language Gym

30–45 minutes per week of resources and practice selected around your needs.

You do not complete everything available: you receive a prioritised selection so your effort goes where it can produce the greatest progress.

Ready to find out whether there is a group that fits your schedule? Send me your availability—or contact me directly if you have questions about the programme first.

You would not eat all your meals for the week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

English works in much the same way: short, distributed practice keeps the language more active than concentrating all your effort into one or two days.

Communication Workouts

English works better when practice is distributed.

The workouts spread your practice and maintain regular contact with English throughout the week.

Recorded speaking productionEach workout gives you a spoken challenge. You record and submit your response so I can assess how you are using English.
48-hour windowsEach challenge has a clear deadline so that your practice does not all build up at the end of the week.
Qualitative assessmentYou receive more than a score: you get useful information about what already works and what needs attention.
One clear recommendationYour results determine the training you receive next in the Language Gym.
Language Gym

The tools you need, without using up all your class time.

If every structure has to be explained and practised in class, less time remains for communication.

The Language Gym allows me to give you the resources you need outside the session so we can make better use of our time together.

Original materials. No coursebook. Every resource is selected and prescribed for something specific you need to work on.

More than attending a class.

The VIP Group is designed for adults who want to take an active role in their progress and know where to focus their effort.

You want something more active and personalised than a conventional class.
You need frequent contact with the language.
You want to speak more—and understand what you need to train.
You value original resources and personalised work.
You can commit to one session and several brief points of contact during the week.

Native English Teacher · English & Communication Specialist

Since 2008, I have helped adults turn the English they know into an ability to communicate with greater confidence, accuracy and ease.

In the VIP Group, I design the training, observe how you use English and personally select the resources that will help you make your next step. You are not following a generic coursebook: your real performance helps determine what we work on next.

I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish, so I can explain clearly when you need support—while keeping your sights firmly set on confident, independent communication.

Your English does not need more random content.

It needs the right tools, opportunities to use them and training that responds to what happens when you try to communicate.
